2024 Hyundai Sonata Revamped Exterior Styling
The 2024 Sonata sports a new front end design that's highlighted by a full-width lightbar and hidden headlamps. The sedan's grille has also been redesigned for a more aggressive look.
The lighting at the rear of the Sonata has been updated with a new H-shaped pattern. A power trunk lid is newly available as well, which is a first for the midsize sedan class, according to Hyundai.
Compared with the standard Sonata, the sport-oriented N Line trim gains a larger front grille, a rear spoiler, quad exhaust outlets, and exclusive 19-inch wheels. N Line buyers can also unlock an exclusive paint color — Aero Matte Silver.

2024 Hyundai Sonata Has Bigger Screens and Over-the-Air Updates
The 2024 Sonata's interior has been overhauled to include a panoramic curved display consisting of twin 12.3-inch screens that are capable of receiving over-the-air software updates. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility is available across all Sonata models for 2024.
Additional features available in the redesigned Sonata include a head-up display, a 12-speaker Bose audio system, remote parking assist, and a digital key that allows drivers to use smartphones and smart watches to lock, unlock, and start the vehicle.
The 2024 Sonata includes a comprehensive safety suite that includes adaptive cruise control with stop and go, lane-keeping assist, blind-spot monitors, and safe-exit warnings, just to name a few. Navigation-based adaptive cruise control and highway driving assist are optional extras on the 2024 Sonata.

2024 Hyundai Sonata Adds Optional All-Wheel Drive
A naturally aspirated 2.5-liter inline-four will serve as the Sonata's base engine. Front-wheel drive is standard, but AWD is newly on offer for 2024.
The 2024 Sonata N Line, which is available exclusively in front-wheel drive, uses a turbocharged 2.5-liter inline-four. It's equipped with launch control and rev matching.
Sonata hybrid models pair an electric motor with a 2.0-liter inline-four. Hybrids get paddle shifters and regenerative braking as standard, and are offered only with front-wheel drive as well.
Hyundai says the 2024 Sonata will arrive in dealer showrooms this winter. Pricing information will be announced closer to the sedan's market launch.
