Infiniti created the autograph trim level as part of the launch campaign for its 2019 QX50, which the company completely redesigned for that model year. Initially, autograph trim focused primarily on the in-cabin experience, where designers break out of conventional color palettes for more daring hues. In 2022, Infiniti expanded the new trim level further into the Infiniti SUV lineup with the QX60 autograph.

Here's how to get the Infiniti autograph trim and what you get with it, along with how much ordering an autograph model will cost.

Which Infiniti Vehicles Offer the Autograph Trim?

For 2022, Infiniti restricts the autograph trim to two of its sport-utility vehicle options. The first is the compact Infiniti QX50, which seats five passengers across two rows, followed by the mid-size Infiniti QX60, which offers three rows of seating.

For QX50 buyers, the autograph is exclusively available with all-wheel drive, but you can configure the QX60 Autograph edition with either front-wheel drive (FWD) or all-wheel drive (AWD).

What Does the Infiniti Autograph Trim Deliver?

In addition to AWD, the Infiniti QX50 Autograph focuses primarily on adding a sheen of exclusivity by way of unique styling and design features inside and out. The QX50 Autograph comes on 20 inch wheels painted a darker hue than the rollers found on the next-step-down sensory trim.

The cabin is replete with semi-aniline leather upholstery that uses detailed quilted stitching on the seats, and ultrasuede material on the headliner and all interior pillars. You’ll also find maple wood trim and additional metal highlights inside the QX50 Autograph, and it carries over all the features and equipment found with the sensory trim level.

There's one more feature that the autograph has that the sensory doesn't: a tow hitch. Towing capacity for the QX50 Autograph is 3,000lbs.

The larger Infiniti QX60 Autograph also represents a step-up over that model's sensory trim (whose features and equipment it builds on). A noticeable difference is the installation of captain's chairs in place of the middle-row bench, which reduces seating from seven to six passengers. Like the QX50 Autograph, the QX60 includes similar semi-aniline leather on the seats and dashboard, with the same quilted stitching, and a camera-based “Smart Rear View Mirror” is also included.

Outside, the QX60 Autograph provides black roof rails to match its “obsidian contrast” roof color, along with adaptive LED headlights.

How Much Does the Infiniti Autograph Trim Cost?

The 2022 Infiniti QX50 Autograph costs around $58,200, which is about $2,500 more than the next-closest Sensory AWD trim. The 2022 Infiniti QX60 Autograph's price of about $62,500 checks in at $4,000 more expensive than the QX60 Sensory.
