If you live in a region with four distinct seasons, you might be looking for a vehicle with both heated and cooled — sometimes called ventilated — seats. These can keep your body warm and toasty during the winter and cool and comfortable in the hot and sunny seasons.

We tracked down the 10 least expensive new models with heated and cooled seats in 2023. Where needed, we've done the hard work for you by locating the option packages containing these features.

2023 Hyundai Sonata Limited: $36,000

Hyundai is known for including lots of features at an attractive price. The top-trim Hyundai Sonata Limited is around $36,000 and includes a variety of ways to help you feel comfortable, such as heated and cooled seats. However, the top-of-the-line Limited trim has a downside: The powertrain makes just 180 horsepower.

If you want to reduce your fuel bills but still chase away the chill, consider the Toyota Prius Limited. This venerable hybrid is well-equipped and includes heated and cooled seats. Additionally, the compact hatchback features 196 horsepower.

2023 Kia Sportage SX Prestige FWD: $35,000

To help keep costs down on a crossover SUV, consider a front-wheel-drive (FWD) model. The Kia Sportage comes in FWD form, allowing you to spend more for a higher trim level, such as the SX Prestige, which includes climate-controlled seats. The 2.5-liter engine in the Sportage makes 187 horsepower. The all-wheel-drive model is an extra $1,800.

The fully loaded Chevrolet Equinox is also available in front-wheel drive, but shoppers must add the Driver Confidence III Package for heated and cooled seats.

2023 Chevrolet Bolt EUV Premier: $34,000

Even more affordably priced electric vehicles can include fancy seats. The Chevrolet Bolt EUV has 247 miles of range on a full battery and its electric motor is capable of spinning up to 200 horsepower. Shoppers can also add Super Cruise hands-free driving for an extra $2,200.

2023 Kia K5 EX: $31,000

While crossovers are popular, don't count out affordable midsize sedans. The sleek-looking Kia K5 EX comes with heated and cooled seats and a sizable 10.3-inch infotainment screen. Like the Hyundai Sonata, the K5 uses a 1.6-liter turbocharged engine that produces 180 horsepower.

2023 Chevrolet Camaro MT 2LT 2.0T: $31,000

The four-cylinder version of the Chevrolet Camaro with a six-speed manual transmission is a sweet deal if you like the look and feel of a pony car. Making 275 horsepower, its performance is underwhelming compared with the V6 and V8 Camaros, but the 2LT models come loaded with standard equipment.

Here's another relatively low-priced compact car that includes excellent fuel mileage and one of your favorite features. The Hyundai Elantra Hybrid Limited not only gets 49/52/50 mpg city/highway/combined, but it also has climate-controlled seats. The standard gas models don't offer this feature.

2023 Volkswagen Jetta SEL: $30,000

The Volkswagen Jetta has generally been a smart choice for shoppers on a budget, and the 2023 model is no different. In SEL trim, not only does it have ventilated front seats, but it also has heated seats for the front and rear passengers.

2023 Kia Forte GT-Line Sport and Premium Package: $26,000

The Kia Forte probably should be on every bargain hunter's short list. It has an attractive starting price of around $21,000, but shoppers who opt for the GT-Line along with its Sport and Premium Packages can get plenty of equipment for about $26,000. Although the 2.0-liter engine is the second-least potent powertrain on this list — making just 147 horsepower — you'll be warm enough to enjoy the ride.

All vehicle pricing includes MSRP plus destination charges (set at the time of publication) and will be rounded to the nearest thousand.
