Incredible car with one huge issue-

Thursday, January 13, 2022

I’ll start by saying this is one beautiful, comfortable, great to drive car. It’s my second Audi, the first an A4 many years ago. The features are easy to use. The safety of blind spot, park assist are wonderful. I think the pick up is fast and handles like a dream. Here’s the big downside-within last 10 months or so I am burning oil…..like every 4 days burning oil. Mechanic checked it out and couldn’t find the source. Now it’s gone from the oil burning to the coolant going below minimum every few weeks. This is insanity for this brand of car with low mileage for the age. I’m not sure what the problem is but I’m pretty certain it’ll cost thousands unless I just do a trade in. I have never had a car eat oil and now coolant like this. Unacceptable. I will probably return to a Lexus SUV which are much, much less expensive to fix and so reliable.

Not Your Moms Station Wagon..My Second Allroad

Thursday, October 10, 2019

This is my second Allroad the first was a 2003. Overall I love the car, I live in the mountains and at the beach so ability to drive in snow is crucial (added all mountain tires) Miss the hydraulics and power of the 2003 but this one still gets me there. Have to keep wheel wells cleared out as freezing snow builds up. Plenty of room inside for my mountain bike, skis, gear. Classy looks and the handling makes the winding mountain road a blast. Heels, boots or barefoot I'd buy it again ! A woman driver ;)
