A small electric vehicle (EV) with seating for four people, the Chevrolet Bolt EV arrived for the 2017 model year. The Bolt EV was revolutionary when it debuted, an affordable electric with more than 200 miles of driving range on a single charge. However, modern EV technology moves at the speed of light, and while the Chevy Bolt remains a budget-friendly choice, it’s no longer the only game in town. Highlights include its elevated seating position and zippy performance, but the rear seat and cargo room are quite tight.
