Best car I owned
Sunday, November 24, 2019
The car is 2011 535i model (10,300 miles) that was purchased 8 years ago. There was one issues (shaft seal noise from engine bay) around 8,440 miles, and it was fixed under warranty. Since then, there are no any issues so far, and it is very reliable, and the engine is powerful. The maintenance includes: oil change every 8000 miles, Brake fluid flush every 2 years (preventive maintenance), 4 new Bridgestone Onguard tires ($997 total) change @ 61,200 miles, spark plugs change ($299) @70,000 (preventive maintenance)

Great Cruiser!
Wednesday, June 29, 2016
This car is wonderful. You have to spend more than a few miles in it and it will grow on you instantly. Huge backseat and storage, luxury and comfort for the driver and passenger, perfect for a car seat and road trip, or put the back seats down and use it for utility (just get the rubber trunk mat!) I'm reconfiguring the backseat as a mobile office with laptop tray and great for Real Estate showings and just overall chauffeuring that is pleasant for both driver and passengers. It is a little button heavy with technology but you will get used to it really quick (what newer cars are not these days?)Don't let visual reviews fool you. This is beauty in the eye of the beholder, and from the inside looking out, not from the outside looking in.

Base model 528I - Extremely easy to drive. handles better than most 4 door sedans. Good weight ratio. Seats are very comfortable. -straight 6 has plenty of power - no turbo required. 238 HP makes hills seem small. floats on rough roads and freeways- milage is really great but you must use high octane gasoline. Roomy trunk. Sunroof is really nice. A fun car to drive. Really good driving visability allt he way around. anything electronic on the car needs a good trained BMW mechanic or a dealership to get changed or updated so be prepared. have owned two previous BMW's 328I and 2002 ( Track car). No spare tire - run flat tires - no jack or spare - aftermarket available.
